Centerfold

This work reimagines found material to explore themes of queerness, desire, and the politics of looking. Organized as a book of interconnected scenes constructed from pages of vintage adult magazines, these images are detached from their original context and queered through my manipulation. Alongside collaborative portraits and still lifes, the images challenge the act of looking by incorporating sequences and spliced frames. Through cutting, rearranging, and recontextualizing these materials, I disrupt their original narratives and create space for new interpretations. The work questions assumptions about desire, visibility, and authorship, inviting viewers to reflect on who is looking—and who is being seen.
